About Frances ...doesn't go to NYC

I have been a fan, volunteer, and supporter of this organization since 2011 or so. I'm inspired by the curriculum that helps girls get to know themselves better, and love that programming is research-based for a pivotal time in girls' lives (3rd-8th grade.)ย

Already a monthly donor and a member of GOTR's Development Committee, I was inspired to do more. With a race finally on my calendar for this spring, I knew it was time to become a SoleMate! Please join me in supporting girls in Central Ohio while I dedicate my training and racing miles to this cause.ย

I'll be building a mileage base back up, but over the course of GOTR's 10 week programming, girls will develop skills that lead to a lifetime of health, confidence, self-awareness, kindness, and positive communication. At their end of their 10 weeks, girls will run a 5K and complete a community service project. (I'll just be running a half marathon in Brooklyn.) Thank you for celebrating local girls' with me!

----

Spring Update: my race was cancelled, but I've continued my training and I'm looking forward to running my own 13.1. Running looks a lot different these days, but I'm grateful for all the lessons it has taught me. Running still has my back; I will continue to advocate for GOTR;ย they will continue to shine as responsive leaders who support their girls, even whenย schools are closed and they find themselves in wildly unpredictable circumstances. GOTRCO is letting their Star Power shine, and the future is bright.ย
