About Allison's Girls on the Run Solemate Campaign

On April 28, I will run the Cap City half marathon as a Girls on the Run Solemate. For those who are not familiar, Girls on the Run is an after school program for 5th-8th grade girls that promotes self-esteem, healthy relationships, and personal wellness through a curriculum that creatively integrates running. At the end of the season, the girls are physically and emotionally ready to participate in a celebratory 5k event. Over half our girls needed financial support to receive the life-changing, self-esteem building skills that Girls on the Run provides. I would like to help meet the need by raising $1,000, which will put five girls through our one-of-a-kind program and also provide them with professionally fitted running shoes.  Every little bit helps:

  • $10 - Provide Healthy Snacks for 1 Girl
  • $25 - Sponsor 1 Girl's 5k Registration
  • $30 - Sponsor 1 Adult to Run the 5k with their Girl
  • $50 - Gift Shoes to 1 Girl
  • $75 - Gift Healthy Snacks for 1/2 a Season
  • $150 - Empower 1 Girl for 1 Season
  • $200 - Empower 1 Girl for 1 Season with Shoes
